However, nanotechnology is not without controversy. Although the Prince of Wales publicly denied reports last year that he thought the world could be reduced to grey goo by an army of self-replicating nanobots, he has remained cautious about the technology.

Sounds like A_B isn't the only one worried about the mainkinds impending doom at the hands of technology.

Didn't Wil Wheaton almost destroy the Enterprise with his experimentation with Nano technology? Some people need to learn from history. ;)
